HOUSE BILL NO. 14 am "An Act relating to an absence from the                                        
state while providing care for a terminally ill family member for                                   
purposes of determining eligibility for a permanent fund dividend; and                              
providing for an effective date" was read the second time.                                          
                                                                                                    
Senator Gary Stevens, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for                                  
the adoption of the State Affairs Senate Committee Substitute offered                               
on page 1203. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL                                           
NO. 14(STA) was adopted.                                                                            
                                                                                                    
President Therriault stated SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 14                                         
(STA) will be on the May 19 calendar.
